According to an Ipsos poll, "Most Canadians feel society is ‘broken’, politicians don’t care about them". This is exactly the way Albertian's feel, that Canadian society is broken, that the eastern provinces are using their electoral power to dominate and denigrate Alberta. 

Yet here in Alberta we tend to fix things. And if we can't fix it we leave and build something better. Lets start with abolishing the transfer payments. And lets follow that up by dramatically shrinking the federal government. If the feds don't want to relinquish their late acquired powers back to the provinces, we leave. It is preferable to govern locally than remotely. Only then can the voice of the people have significance.
