Moe: Sask is “not backing down” from fighting Trudeau’s government overreach - Western Standard

Saskatchewan's Premier Moe said he doesn't understand some of the decisions in Ottawa, as it makes Saskatchewanians feel “disenfranchised, disillusioned, [and] disturbed” by the federal government. 

“But we are not discouraged, and we are not backing down,” said Moe said.

Moe discussed the Saskatchewan First Act to reassert the autonomy of the province and warn the federal government to not overstep its authority.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s climate change policies frustrated Moe and he’s pushed back trying to protect Saskatchewan’s resource sector ...

“You can ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of reality,” said Moe.
