Hero Pastor in Calgary kicks police out of Church - The Blaze

I find it a curious thing that these stories about Canadian police harrasment, against Christian's on their holiest of days, are being picked up by american media outlets, but not Canadian media. I also find it revealing that Alberta Premier Kenny is silent on this escalating persecution that is occuring on his watch, and with his permission.

I also find it curious that all the Churches in my neighbourhood in Edmonton are being forced to comply with lockdown measures, but a small mosque down the street from me is packed to the rafters with people.

Particularly interesting is that the police seem to have no interest in this mosque's civil disobedience, but are vigilant on Christian civil disobedience. Is it because the cops are afraid of the "racist" charge? Or is it because they are afraid of a personal intifada being issued against them (basically, a religiously ordered assassination)? Or is it because they are Christ-aphobes?

Whatever the case, here is a hero Pastor (in Calgary) that believes what he preaches! These cops have illegally trespassed on private property and are being kicked out. The fact that they comply illustrates that they know they're in the wrong and that they have no right to break this constitutional right: they are the lawbreakers here. Issue your bloody ticket from the sidewalk and go home! Don't try to intimidate a lawful religious ceremony. The cops are acting both sacrilegiously and dishonestly.

Here is what the law states about these cops disrupting a Easter Church Service:

Government of Canada Criminal Code (R.S.C., 1985, C. C-46)

“Every one who willfully disturbs or interrupts an assemblage of persons met for religious worship … is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction”.
